Kamal Birdi, senior lecturer on Occupational Psychology from the Institute of Work Psychology, University of Sheffield, and COMPOSITE researcher, was interviewed as an 'academic expert' on the topic of police use of social media. Although the BBC Radio 4 documentary "Bobbies on the Tweet" focused mainly on Greater Manchester Police and their use of Twitter and Co., an academic perspective was considered by mentioning COMPOSITE findings (see work package 3: knowledge sharingand work package 4: best practice social media, social media adaptation) presented and discussed by Kamal Birdi. This documentary "is a good example of dissemination and how COMPOSITE research is getting out into the mainstream", as Kamal Birdi stated.
